      • This section tells the story about some of the horses that have touched the lives of humans.

(And in touching their lives, it touches their Hearts!)

        Willy & Shayna

From what I understand, Willy was always at the bottom of the pecking order in any herd (picked on, and pushed out by the other horses.)

Julie "President" got a sad call one day from an old friend that had one of her two horses slip and fall, and had to be put down. These two horses (a herd) had been together approximately twenty years. The surviving horse (Shayna) was in grieving hard! and Julie's friend was reaching out for possible solutions for her grieving horse.

Julie came up with trying to put Willy and Shayna together as a temporary solution.

Well, they bonded instantly, and a temporary solution became a long term solution.

The picture (Willy to the right/Shayna to the left) was taken moments after the two horses met. A new herd!

As a greenhorn, this interaction was a beautiful experience to witness.

        Dan
